I don't normally write reviews for chains, especially a place like Starbucks, but I've been really impressed with this Starbucks and want to share. All of my visits to this Starbucks have been good; friendly staff, drinks made quickly, and all my crazy requests catered to. I expect efficient friendly service from a Starbucks so I wasn't blown away, until today. I stopped in after lunch nearby with a friend for an Iced Raspberry Passion Lemonade (that's a mouthful!). He asked what Mandy wanted, she said "nothing", and he said "You look like you need the same thing she's having". He told the barista "Make that two!" and Mandy got a tasty free drink! Made both of us smile and she loved her drink. I'm pretty sure she'll be stopping by again to have another Raspberry Passion Lemonade.

I was just in a few hours ago, deciding to go in rather than waiting in the long line. After getting my Grande Drip, I went to add sugar & half & half but the half & half canister was empty. I took it to the cashier & asked for some more. A large, tall smile-less black haired guy grabbed the empty canister & disappeared... acting like he was upset having to assist a customer. A few minutes later he returned & slammed the full canister down in front of me. Flipped around and walked away. Even though I was a bit surprised at his attitude, I still said "thank you." When he didn't respond, I added... "You're welcome." It would seem he was dealing with some issues... which I would prefer not to be apart of. I didn't want to give this jerk even one star as this was... WORST STAR-BUCKS EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Starbucks is always a decent stop for me. I think they overroast a bit, but the coffee here is way better than the alternatives when a little local place is not close by. Not much to rate... I always get the brew of the day, tall or iced.

This is a great location, they are always very friendly. Sometimes I go to work early on Saturday mornings. Even after they just open at 530 in the morning, they are chipper and upbeat.

I'm from out of town visiting family in CR. I usually travel to CR about twice a year. I frequent Starbucks often in my home town and when I travel. So this was a natural stop for me to get some work accomplished. The staff here has always been friendly, professional, and courteous. I give 2 stars, however, because the place has flies buzzing around everywhere. When I stopped in the last couple of times over the past couple of years they also had flies buzzing around, but I chalked it up as a fluke. But this is the third time! I can't help but think there must be a cleanliness problem. There were just too many flies. I had to swat them away from my face. I didn't stay long as it was too distracting. There is another coffee shop down the street that I found. I won't name it here but it's clean, no flies, quieter, and the Internet is faster. I'll be leaving a review for them next.

All it took was one snotty barista to ruin a perfectly fine establishment I used to frequent pretty often. Sorry honey, but you work in customer service, so don't act like you're inconvenienced because you have to pause your incessant teenage angst melodrama whining long enough to make my drink, then AUDIBLY give an exasperated sigh and roll your eyes when I ask to have it re-made because you got it wrong. Just because your life sucks doesn't mean my coffee should.
